Why Ubizie is building future-tense social

Social connection should begin before the moment—not only after it.

Most social products are built around the past. People share where they went, what they saw, and the moments they already experienced. Those memories matter, but they arrive after the opportunity to join has passed.

Connection starts with what happens next

Ubizie is built around a different question: what are your people doing next? Upcoming plans can create a reason to reach out, join a conversation, say you are going, and turn an ordinary possibility into time together.

We call this future-tense social. It is not about replacing real relationships with more screen time. It is about using social discovery to create more chances for genuine connection away from the screen.

Turning missed opportunities into connection

People miss chances to be together because they learn about them after the moment has passed. Ubizie makes those opportunities visible sooner, when a message, comment, or Going response can still become time together.

Plans are the beginning, not the product

Ubizie includes plans, but it is not a planning, scheduling, calendar, or event-management app. A plan is social context that helps people discover something relevant, understand why friends are interested, and decide whether to take part.

When a friend is going, likes a plan, comments, or shares it, that social context can make the opportunity feel more personal. Privacy and audience rules still determine who can see each plan.

From anticipation to memory

Connection continues before, during, and after the moment. Conversations help people coordinate and build anticipation. After a plan begins, eligible participants can contribute photos and return to the shared memory later.

That full arc—discover, connect, be there, remember—is the experience Ubizie is building. Learn more about how Ubizie works or read the official Ubizie overview.
